It depends on several factors, but rates usually range from 5–10%. The exact rates and terms will vary based on the federal interest rate and the details of your individual application.
Evidently, the higher your credit score, the stronger your credit history, and the larger your down payment, the better your financing options will be. However, you might be surprised by the deals available, including down payments as low as 10%!
We recommend having a credit score of at least 640. It’s beneficial to have several years of credit history, which should include credit cards and a previous installment loan or mortgage. A solid payment history with few or no delinquencies is also important.
